There is layer upon layer of intricate detail in the movie Cars 2, the sequel to the successful 2006 Pixar release Cars. So much detail, in fact, that you might want to wait until the DVD comes out so that you can freeze the frames and pick out all of the subtle automotive styling cues that abound within. What’s new on Ford’s Geneva Motor Show stand? The Fiesta of course. Both three and five-door versions of the supermini were on display, and both looked brilliant.
For the first time Mercedes-Benz has added a range-topping AMG performance version to the GL Class – the Mercedes GL 63 AMG. Many would ask whether the Mercedes GL has any point when the perfectly good M Class is a more sensible offering. After all, it’s the size of the Albert Hall and not the most dynamic SUV on the planet.
